Information We Collect We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our meal planning service: - Account Information: phone number (for registration, login and identity verification), plus your language and unit preferences. - Household Dietary Profiles: for each family member you add - age range, gender, height, weight, dietary goals, allergies, avoided foods, health conditions, taste preferences, and any notes you provide. - Usage Data: meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, food photos you upload for family recipes or carb scanning, and feedback you submit. - Technical Data: app version and error logs used solely for troubleshooting. 2. Information We Do NOT Collect We do not collect: precise location (GPS), contacts, SMS/call logs, full payment card details (payments are processed by third-party platforms), or biometric data (face/fingerprint). 3. How We Use Your Information We use your information solely to: generate personalized meal plans, recipes, nutrition analysis and grocery lists; power AI features (meal plan generation, food recognition, in-app search); maintain and improve service quality; comply with legal obligations. 4. Information Sharing & Processing To the extent necessary, we may share limited information with: AI model providers (DeepSeek V4, Qwen-VL, Tongyi Wanxiang) - only de-identified data essential for generating results is transmitted. Phone numbers, names, and other direct identifiers are NEVER sent to external models. Our formal agreements with model providers explicitly state that API data shall NOT be used for model training or improvement. Cloud service providers - your data is stored on Alibaba Cloud (Beijing Region, China). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties. 5. Data Storage & Cross-Border Transfer All user personal information and business data is stored within China (Alibaba Cloud, Beijing Region). No data is transferred outside of China. Should cross-border transfer become necessary, we will conduct a security assessment and obtain your separate consent. 6. Data Security We implement: AES-256 encryption for sensitive fields (phone numbers); TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption for data transmission; IP whitelisting and dual-factor authentication for database access; daily automated full backups and weekly offsite disaster recovery. 7. Data Retention We retain your personal information only as long as necessary. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently erased within 7 days and cannot be recovered. 8. Your Rights Under applicable law, you have the right to: access your data via Settings > Account & Data; correct your information at any time; delete your account and all associated data; request a copy of your data via info@cosmeal.com.cn (processed within 15 business days); withdraw previously granted permissions. 9. Children's Privacy The Service is intended for adults aged 18+. Adult guardians may create dietary profiles for minors in their household. Before collecting information about children under 14, we obtain verifiable parental consent via in-app popup. Children's dietary profiles contain only essential information (age range, allergies, avoided foods). Guardians may edit or delete profiles at any time. 10. Policy Updates We may update this policy.
